Christmas is just around the corner and our favourite Christmas queen has defrosted and is back again to make Christmas a jolly holiday for families across the globe with a new partnership with a popular online video game, Fortnite.
On Friday, December 20 Fortnite released Mariah Carey’s character on their platform. The singer’s character emerged from a giant block of ice and started singing the iconic “All I want For Christmas Is You” song.
The giant block of ice was lit up with a blue beam of light and players could access it within the regular battle royale mode.
The character was wearing a glittery Christmas costume, and this character was released because of the Winterfest edition, which starts on December 20 and ends on January 7.
The character comes with two different outfits as well as accessories. The two outfits are a red and white Christmas jumpsuit, which is inspired by her "Merry Christmas" album cover which was released 30 years ago in 1994.
The two other outfits include a glamorous gold dress which was inspired by the singer’s tenth studio album, “The Emancipation of Mimi” which was a huge comeback for the singer during the 2000s era.
The other dress is a stunning purple dress which was also inspired by Mariah Carey’s tenth studio album.
The accessories includes gilded honey wings, white angelic wings, a mic and a dancing emote (a cosmetic item that allows a character to perform a specific animation or gesture).
All the accessories as well as the outfits are usable in the following modes, Fortnite Festival, Rockets Racing and Battle Royale.
The American legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg also has a character on Fortnite which is free for players to access.
The character also comes with a Christmas outfit that will surely make Santa proud.
