The anticipation is building up as the “pretty girl from Jo’burg” is gearing up to set the Coachella stage ablaze this Friday.
Last year, the multi-talented star revealed that she had never attended the renowned festival but vowed that her first attendance would be as a performer and her manifestation has come true.
After Coachella announced the line-up for the festival, the “Push 2 Start” hitmaker took to social media to celebrate, commenting on the festival’s post: “Had many opportunities to go but swore to myself that the first time I go to Coachella, imma be performing… and look now!”
And now that her wish has been granted as the manifestation queen that she is. Her global fans are thrilled and eagerly awaiting her performance.
Tyla's unique fusion of amapiano and R&B, as well as her infectious energy on stage, is sure to have the crowd glued to her performance.
The Coachella festival is one of the most highly anticipated music events in the world. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which takes place every year in the California desert, features a wide range of musical genres, including rock, pop, indie and hip hop.
The music event is held over two weekends that are filled with art installations and sculptures. Across the grounds, several stages continuously host live music.
The 23-year-old singer will be performing on the first day of Coachella, which is this Friday, April 11, and again on Friday, April 18, the second weekend of the event, alongside a star-studded lineup featuring Missy Elliott, GloRilla, and Lady Gaga, to name a few.
In other news, Tyla’s older sister, Whitney Jasmin, is also gearing up to watch her superstar sister kill it on the Coachella stage.
Yesterday, she shared a vlog on her TikTok, captioning it, “Come with me to Coachella and America for the first time.”
She takes her followers on a journey with her as she creates content. Jasmin also shared that it will be her first time flying out of her home country, South Africa.

Tyla’s fans, Tygers, are also excited and share that they cannot wait to see the singer perform live on the stage. They have taken to social media to create a special hashtag for Tyla’s very first time at Coachella, called #Tychella.
They also planned a dress code, “Tyla Coded”, where fans get to wear Tyla-inspired outfits. This weekend is set to be one of the most notable eras in the “Water” hitmaker’s music career, adding to her already successful run.
