Award-winning musician Naledi Aphiwe is headed to the University of Johannesburg after passing her matric exams.

The rising star who attended Khethokuhle Secondary School in Inanda, KwaZulu-Natal told her followers that she would be headed to the City of Gold to study hospitality.

Naledi Aphiwe passed her matric exams with a bachelor's pass. She received major applause from her fans, for focusing on her studies despite her budding career.

Her fans continue to support her music and educational pursuits, praising her for balancing her studies with her burgeoning music career.

In 2024, Naledi Aphiwe continued to cement her name in the South African music scene, releasing music "Ngifuna Wena" and winning Soft 'n Free Pop Artist of the Year at the 2024 Basadi in Music Awards

Naledi Aphiwe first became famous with a viral singing video that caught the attention of music fans everywhere. Her fame grew even more when she appeared on Chris Brown's 11:11 album in 2023, which helped her gain more recognition in the music industry.

She even got to meet the international music superstar when he performed in Johannesburg, South Africa in December.

Naledi Aphiwe is set to release new music with Mawelele who she has been posting all boo’ed with on her Instagram sparking romance rumours between them, however it could all be to promote their song “Romeo and Juliet”

She will also be going on the Love Tour with Cici and Friends which kicks off on March 1 at the Playhouse in Durban.
