Rocking The Daises returns to Cloof Wine Estate with a diverse line-up featuring artists from South Africa, America and the UK.
In its 13th year, the festival will feature Hotel Soulection bought to the festival by Red Bull Music and Soulection. American rappers Goldlink and 6lack, Soulection, which started at a college radio station and then moved to the Red Bull Studios in LA is an independent music platform, radio show and artist collective.
In 2015, Joe Kay and The Whooligan travelled to South Africa for Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF) and recorded two radio shows at the Red Bull Music Studio. The 204th radio show was a Dilla Tribute and the 205th show was the first time they opened up the show to public.
This year they return to South Africa with the Hotel Soulection stage at Rocking The Daisies. Itwill be the biggest Soulection curated line-up to date with over 25 artists performing such as Mona Lisa hit makers, Monte Booker and Naji, Yukibeb, producer and DJ AbJo, Sahar Habibi, Andre Power and Da-P. ESTA, Dunn Kidda, Kid Fonque and Beat Sampras join the line-up together with Canadian R&B duo Majid Jordan. Known for their working relationship with Drake, the My Love hitmakerswill travel to South Africa for the first time.
Shane Eagle takes a break from his Yellow Tour to represent South African hip-hop alongside YoungstaCPT as well as the founders of Uppercut Alvinator and Ed Weiss.
