The Sun Exhibits, GrandWest will once again be transformed into a small Bavarian town square, full of beers and entertainment for the TOPS at Spar Bierfest on 28 and 29 September 2018.
Now in its eighth year running, South Africa’s loved Bierfest will be bringing its amazing selection of beers from lederhosen to dirndls.
There will be ten craft beers on tap. The Cape Brewing Company (CBC) will be pouring their lager, pilsner, amber weiss, peach weiss, Imperial IPA and the Brewmaster's Reserve Dunkel.
Other favourite craft beer brands Striped Horse, Diesel&Dust and Rekorderlig Cider will also be available at the event.
Expect to see pigtails and enjoy oompah music, there will be frauleins and eisbeins, and, of course, jugs of delicious, cold beers.
Adolf Thelen's Songscape Oompah Band will be performing and there will be Bavarian cuisine on offer. The hilarious comedian, Brendan Murry, will once again be in the role of Klaus Über Hüber, the mayor of Munich, with Rainer Augustine as the jolly innkeeper. The Rockerfellas, one of South Africa’s top party bands, will be keeping the party going
