Award-winning South African actress, Nomzamo Mbatha, will be hosting Stella Artois' Let’s Do Dinner event in Johannesburg. This year she will be joined by fellow actor and entrepreneur, Thapelo Mokoena.

Mokoena, the visionary founder of Bakoena Brands, has had a busy year. He recently partnered with Stella Artois in delivering a keynote address as part of the recent GQ Grooming Masterclass held in Johannesburg.

Mokoena’s relationship with the brand is growing, as he takes over from presenter Kat Sinivasan who hosted with Mbatha last year.

“It’s such an honour to be co-hosting Let’s Do Dinner with Nomzamo. I truly resonate with what this event represents – bringing people together through the shared experience of a great meal.

“There’s something profound about how food and meaningful conversation create lasting connections; it doesn’t get any better than that,’ said Mokoena.

Mbatha has been busy globe-trotting, winning prestigious awards such as Best African Actress at the Septimius Awards in Amsterdam, co-presenting the Global Citizen Festival in New York in September.

She recently was home in South Africa, celebrating her partnership growth with Neutrogeuna and hosted the Empowering HER Seminar.

“I’m so looking forward to hosting SA’s most fascinating dinner again after the success of last year’s inaugural event.

“There’s something so powerful about taking time out to share a meal – nothing is worth more than human connection and the meaningful moments that come from coming together around a table,” said Mbatha.

The second edition of Let’s Do Dinner will bring together South Africa’s most noteworthy personalities – from actors to book authors, musicians, artists, and business titans - for a dinner that celebrates the power of human connection and moments worth more around the table.

Last year’s guests included Zozibini Tunzi, Lloyiso, Lasizwe, Mihlali Ndamase and Melanie Bala, Unathi Msengana, Holly Rey and more industry makers.

Let’s Do Dinner Johannesburg takes place on November 12.
