Getting your hands on a pimped up Dodge Caliber has just become a whole lot easier with the release of the Mopar Edition.
Costing R259 990, it's based on the 115kW/190Nm Caliber 2-litre petrol and adds 18-inch powder-coated alloy wheels, racy bonnet and beltline decals and Mopar decals. The Mopar Edition has also been lowered by two inches and beneath the bonnet it gets a cold-air induction kit as well as a performance manifold and exhaust system.
Despite having engine mods that would surely increase outputs, Chrysler makes no mention of a power increase and nor could the company's spokesperson confirm such a thing.
The Mopar trademark is derived from the words Motor and Parts and signifies a wide range of high-performance parts for Chrysler Group models.
