In case you’re wondering - no one won the R100 million Powerball jackpot from Tuesday night’s draw - which can only mean one thing, there’s always another chance to win.
According to the draw sheet, the only winners were in the third division.
A total of 32 people had four correct numbers in the Powerball, and each walked away with an amount of R31,388.50.
The Powerball jackpot which has now rolled over 17 times is estimated at R106 million for the September 13 draw.
There were also no winners in the Powerball Plus jackpot, and that has rolled over to an estimated R32 million for the next draw.
Five people who won in the second division had five correct numbers and each person won an amount of R128,031.70.
A total of 23 people won in the third division, which is having four correct numbers and the Powerball number and each person won R6,971.70.
Last month, a KwaZulu-Natal plumber became an instant multi-millionaire after bagging the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot from the August 31 draw.
The National Lottery Ithuba confirmed that the winner walked away with a whopping R38,107,020.50.
He said he’s only won small amounts like R50, R100, or even R5 in the past.
“As I made my way to the Ithuba office, I was hoping for at least R1 million to help improve our home but even that seemed like a stretch.”
