Menlyn Park Shopping Centre is turning up the style this season with its bold and beautifully curated “Destination Winter” campaign, running from 28 March to 1 June 2025. As one of South Africa’s leading fashion and lifestyle destinations, the centre is redefining how shoppers experience winter fashion by merging global trends with local flair—all under one stylish roof.
The centrepiece of the campaign is an installation of eight fashion pods, each inspired by a uniquely South African winter destination. From the serene Karoo to the icy cool of the Drakensberg, each pod features five distinct looks, styled with a mix of international labels and proudly South African fashion brands available at Menlyn. The result is a seasonally inspired, shoppable journey that’s as immersive as it is fashion-forward.
Shoppers can explore more than 300 stores, including luxury brands like Michael Kors, trend-driven staples like ZARA, Calvin Klein (exclusive to Pretoria), H&M, Ted Baker and even the NBA Store. Menlyn also celebrates local talent, with proudly South African brands such as Bathu, GalXBoy, Shesha, Ama Kip Kip, Blank Collection, and Konkhe Kuhamba Kahle firmly in the spotlight.
This winter’s must-have shade? Mocha—Pantone’s 2025 Colour of the Year. This rich, velvety tone features across multiple pod looks and is paired with buttery neutrals and bold colour pops. Expect oversized silhouettes, luxe knits, tailored classics, and wearable layers—all curated to reflect what’s hot and wearable right now.
To bring each pod to life, Menlyn has collaborated with a star-studded lineup of South African personalities. Simoné Pretorius gives Johannesburg chic a cinematic edge, while Bafana Bafana’s Grant Kekana channels laid-back streetwear inspired by the Garden Route. Fashion editors Nontando Mposo and Molife Kumona curate looks for Dullstroom and the Winelands, respectively, while RHOJ’s Mareli Bentley and Madeline Rossouw style the Drakensberg and West Coast pods. Even the little ones are covered, with Durban-inspired kids’ fashion by Harper Pretorius and Little Alico.
For added style support, shoppers can access the Digital Winter Trend Guide—a practical online resource filled with trend breakdowns, pod-inspired looks, and shoppable links across different price points. Created by Menlyn’s in-house stylist Madeline Rossouw, the guide ensures fashion is accessible and effortless for all.
With local and global fashion under one roof, immersive experiences, and practical styling tools, Menlyn Park cements itself as the ultimate destination for winter fashion in 2025.
