Stormers prop Oli Kebble will join the Glasgow Warriors at the conclusion of the 2017 season on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old former Junior Springbok made his Stormers debut in 2014 and has since earned 34 Super Rugby caps.
Kebble is contracted to Western Province Rugby until the end of the 2017 season and will head to Scotland once he has concluded his commitments in Cape Town
The move to Glasgow will not be Kebble’s first time in the UK as he previously studied at Dulwich College in London and was part of the London Irish Academy.
Director of Rugby Gert Smal said that Kebble has grown enormously in his time with the Union.
"Oli has come a long way in his time with us and leaves us a rounded player who has a lot to offer," he said.
Western Province Rugby Group CEO Paul Zacks said that Kebble's contribution to the union has been greatly appreciated.
"We are very grateful for Oli's contribution and we were certainly not going to stand in the way of what is a great opportunity for him to further his career in Scotland," he said.
President of the Western Province Rugby Football Union, Mr Thelo Wakefield, thanked Kebble for his service to both the Stormers and Western Province.
"Oli Kebble has been a highly committed player in his time here with us and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours," he said.
