Loosehead prop Kwenzo Blose will make his Stormers debut when he comes off the bench against the Blues at Newlands on Saturday.
The starting team features two changes to the one that beat the Jaguares in Cape Town last weekend. Both changes are in the pack.
In the front row, Wilco Louw comes in for fellow Bok tighthead Frans Malherbe, with Blose providing cover among the replacements in the place of the injured Ali Vermaak.

At lock, Chris van Zyl returns to the run-on side, with Salmaan Moerat, who started last week, moving to the bench.
Among the replacements, Cobus Wiese comes in for Johan du Toit.
