Cape Town – Pumas flank Marnus Schoeman will feature for the Stormers in their fixture against the SWD Eagles after joining the Cape side on loan for the Super Rugby season.
The 28-year-old, who made his debut for the Mpumalanga outfit in 2015, has scored 16 tries in 29 appearances and will make his first appearance for Robbie Fleck's side in their second pre-season game at Outeniqua Park in George on Saturday.
Schoeman, an openside flank, will be the Stormers' only specialist fetcher in the absence of Stephan de Wit due to injury.
Schoeman, who was unlucky to have missed out on selection in 2016 due to injury concerns, is still contracted with the Pumas and will return to the side on June 1 after his loan spell with the Stormers.
