Manchester United are reportedly closing in signing French teenage sensation Leny Yoro from Lille.
According to reports, the 18-year-old defender, regarded by many to be a “generational talent”, flew to Manchester on Wednesday to complete a medical after the two clubs agreed on a £50m-deal.

The France Under-21 international was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, but they failed to show any interest interest in signing him.
Should Yoro complete the move to United, he will be the second arrival during this off-season. Last week, the club concluded a deal to sign 23-year-old Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Italian club Bologna.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Yoro will sign a five-year deal that includes several bonuses based on appearances and performances.
Despite the looming arrival of Yoro, United continue to be linked with Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt, and Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton.
The club are said to have already agreed terms with De Ligt, and are close to agreeing a fee with the German giants. Regarding Branthwaite, United and Everton are still not seeing eye-to-eye on the 22-year-old valuation.
After a difficult 2023/24 campaign, United have also made contact with Paris Saint-Germain over the services of Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte as they look to overhaul their midfield.
Ageing Brazilian midfielder Casemiro is rumoured to be on the way out, as is English defender Harry Maguire.
